Gavin Hunt’s troubles keep on mounting

Gavin Hunt’s troubles keep on mounting. Seems the headaches for Kaizer Chief’s head coach Gavin Hunt keeps on mounting. As if the ban on Kaizer Chief’s which will last till June is not enough Hunt is facing a challenge of more of his players getting injured.

Midfielder Dumisani Zuma will not be part of the match scheduled for the FNB stadium. Dumisani is suffering from a hamstring injury. Even though some time back it was reported that the midfielder has returned for training it has be confirmed that he won’t be part of the players playing during the midweek match.

“Dumsani Zuma has picked up a hamstring injury in training,” read a statement from Amakhosi.

Meanwhile, adding to Hunt’s headache is midfielder Kearyn Baccus who will also not be available.

“Kearyn Baccus has a thigh muscle strain. Both players will undergo scanning and an update will be reported,” added the statement.

At the moment Kaizer Chief’s is on the 13th spot on the league. As it is they are nine points behind the defending champion’s and current log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns and if it stays like that they can kiss the dream of lifting the champions this year goodbye.

Black Leopards are way worse than Amakhosi, as it is now they are down in 15th-place with just three points from their opening five matches of the season.
