Lufuno’s death really left everyone with a heartache, it touched a lot of people around the country and many of our South African celebrities. Lufuno was only 15-years-old and yet she had been through a lot, its so sad that she had experienced a lot at such a young age.
Lufuno took some pills at home after she was bullied and humiliated at school, her family rushed her to the hospital but it was too late for her. The 15-year-old had been bullied and assaulted and even she reported the matter to the school principal she did not get the help she needed.
Touched by Lufuno’s story, Somizi travelled to Limpopo to see Lufuno’s family. He took it to his twitter account and announced that he was in Gqeberha as he went to meet Lufuno’s family.
“Flew to Gqeberha this morning to give support to the family of the brutally murdered member of our LGBTIQ+ fam LULU…I’ll be back on the 1st June for the court hearing …#riplulu #ripspha #spokgoane #justiceforlulu,” he wrote.
