Drama at Donald’s Album Listening Party after a bomb threat was reported

Drama at Donald’s Album Listening Party after a bomb threat was reported.These are things that we always think only happen in movies not in real life but it seems even in real life things like bomb threats do happen. Afrosoul and RnB artist Donald Moatshe listening party was canceled after a bomb threat was received.

The singer had been preparing for his upcoming album release it was set to be a start studded event but it seems forces beyond his control had other plans.

Phil Mphela reported that the listening party that was scheduled to start around 18:30 was canceled and everyone who was already there had to be evacuated from the building because of the bomb threat he also mentioned that Donald was doing ok despite the circumstances.

The mall posted on its social media account, “We have been approached with a threat and local authorities have requested that we evacuate the mall as of 4:50pm today, 21 October 2021. We will update you as soon as the mall is open and it is safe to re-enter. Thank you.”

Donald went on his twitter account and shared the news saying despite the bomb threat, his album still drops at midnight. “God speaks in a different way and I always have to listen, Police came in evacuating everyone from The Rosebank mall and surrounding buildings, management had no choice but to cancel my Album Launch, #DreamsAlbum still drops at midnight, Let’s operate,” he tweeted.

No one was hurt and we believe his album will get even more attention after what happened, Donald is one of Mzansi’s finest and beloved musicians and his career has been growing rapidly since 2010.

However a tweep said recently that Donald’s career had hit a dead end his response was swift and straight to the point saying;

“But your career ended early 2000’s…” is some of the hurtful comments many have directed at the musician. This unnecessary comment was in response to a tweet by the muso when he claimed to be a one of a kind artist, cut from a different cloth than the rest of the musicians in the country.

“I knew very early in my career that I would be different from other artists, the way I move is very different. Most don’t get it in the beginning but they eventually respect it,” he claimed.

He went on to list his accomplishments for the troll. “My career only started in 2005, 2009 as a solo artist, only dropped my 1st No.1 in 2012 and my last No.1 was in 2018, my last Top 5 record was in 2019, so which Donald are you referring to?” he clapped back.
