Former Kaizer Chiefs star spotted playing for the club that caused problems for Amakhosi. Who could forget the saga involving Andriamirado “Dax” Andririmanana, a former Kaizer Chiefs’ player whose name can cause one to bite their own tongue trying to pronounce his name, well he is now back.
Andriamirado last saw action in the Premier Soccer League when he featured for Black Leopards and this was after he was sold by Amakhosi who had bought him from Fosa Juniours Football Club.
Currently, he is playing for his native Madagascar’s side, Fosa Juniours, a team he was attached to before. This surprised a lot of people, given what took place before he initially left them for the PSL.
Years back, Kaizer Chiefs signed Dax as a free agent according to them, but Fosa Juniours claimed that they had a running contract with the player. Dax also had an opposing view about the situation. This dispute went on and was later dragged to FIFA where it was ruled that Chiefs had done wrong signing a player which had a binding contract with another team. They were fined and banned for two transfer windows where they would not sign any player.
With all that transpired, the player is now back again at Fosa Juniours in Madagascar and this caught many people unaware. In the PSL, he didn’t deliver performances worthy of the hype that surrounded him before signing.
However, he played for Fosa over the weekend and is trying to regain his form that gained him the initial praise in the PSL.
