The actress revealed that she received the news of her departure from the show just before she went on holiday with her family. She said that the news came as a shock to her, and it was difficult to enjoy her time off knowing that she would soon be unemployed.

Mchunu also expressed her disappointment at not being given any reason for her departure from the show. She said that she had been a loyal cast member and had always given her best to the role, but she was not given any explanation as to why she was being let go.

The actress thanked her fans for their support, saying that she had been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and encouragement she had received since news of her departure from the show broke. She said that she would miss playing MaZet, but she was looking forward to new opportunities and challenges in her career.

Mchunu’s departure from “Gomora” has been met with disappointment from fans of the show, who have expressed their sadness at seeing her leave. Many have taken to social media to express their support for the actress, with some even starting a petition to have her reinstated on the show.

It is not uncommon for actors to be written out of television shows, but the emotional impact on the actor can be significant. Losing a job can be a traumatic experience, especially for someone who has dedicated their life to their craft.

Mchunu’s experience is a reminder of the importance of job security in the entertainment industry. Actors, like all workers, deserve to have stable employment and fair treatment from their employers. The precarious nature of work in the entertainment industry can make this difficult, but it is essential that we work towards creating a more equitable and secure environment for all.

In the meantime, we can offer our support to Mchunu and other actors who have been in similar situations. Losing a job can be a lonely and isolating experience, but knowing that there are people who care and are willing to offer their support can make all the difference.
