In shock Mabuza has sadly passed away. It is a sad note that we report of the passing of Mabuza. Mabuza whose full name is Fifi Mabuza needs no introduction in the entertainment industry. The 63 year old was a famous lead singer of SA’s acapella group called the KwaNyamazane group.
The group was formed in 1988 and they made their first huge break in 1994 with their album called Jesus is coming. It has been reported that the talented singer passed away on Thursday evening. It has been reported that she passed away at Steve Biko academic hospital where she was admitted on Monday.
Her death was confirmed by Belina Nkosi who is the founder of their group “We are crying. We are hurt. This is still new, we have not come to terms with the news of her death.”
“Initially, she had gone for a check-up, but because of her condition, she was admitted and passed away around 8pm on Thursday evening,” he said. A fellow group member Anna Thabethe also spoke on her death and she had nothing but good things to say about Mabuza
“Christ lived in her and she lived for Christ.”
Thabethe went on to describe Mabuza as a humble and kind person. “Although she was a lead singer, she never treated us as her backing vocals or threatened to pursue a solo career,” she said. Details of her burial have not yet been released may her soul rest in pest.
