Julius Malema wants Cyril Ramaphosa to make public his CR17 documents even if he doesn’t want . Julius “juju” Malema has said President Cyril Ramaphosa should make his CR17 documents linked to 2017 ANC Nasrec conference. He said if he doesn’t willingly he will do it by force.
These documents which contains the name of his donors to his 2017 National conference were made private by the court. He did this so that members of the public will not know who assisted financially towards his campaign.
However the President who is in a bid to do away with corruption in the country has promised to unseal these documents. Many are calling for the documents to be made public inorder to clear him from the corruption allegations. This will be done to see if the beneficiaries of the Covid-19 PPE tenders are not among those who contributed to Ramaphosa’s campaign.
Malema said these documents should be made public for everyone to see. It doesn’t matter if Ramaphosa wants or not.
Ramaphosa is also under fire over the letter he sent to ANC members in which he highlighted how corruption especially related to ANC members is on the rise. His letter has caused so much backlash to the extent that some are even calling for him to resign.
The former president Jacob Zuma also showed that he was not in support of the context of the letter. He said Ramaphosa should not say the ANC members are corrupts all because of few individuals rather he should name those that are actually guilty. He also urged Ramaphosa to unseal his CR17 documents to see if he also doesn’t have a hand in the corruption allegations.
Eff leader said it will be easy for the parliment to look into the matter if Ramaphosa makes his CR17 documents public.
President Cyril Ramaphosa is set to appear before ANC integrity committee in regards to donor’s of his campaign as well covid-19 corruption under his administration.
