The program lasts for a duration of 12 months and is structured to include both on-the-job training and classroom-based learning. Participants will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the field, gaining practical skills and experience in the daily operations and maintenance of water treatment plants and wastewater treatment facilities.

How To Apply For Teaching Assistant Jobs
In addition to hands-on training, learners will also be required to complete theoretical training in areas such as water treatment processes, safety procedures, and basic chemical principles. This training will be delivered in a classroom setting, providing participants with the opportunity to engage in discussions and interact with other learners.
Upon successful completion of the learnership program, participants will receive an NQF Level 2 qualification in water and wastewater treatment operations.
