Mzansi’s most controversial young reality TV star, Siyacela Dlamuka, best known for his appearance on Isencane Lengane, is once again in the spotlight — and this time, he’s aiming for a much bigger stage. The outspoken personality has publicly declared his desire to join Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, asking South Africans to vote him into the show.
Taking to Facebook, Siyacela posted what appeared to be a screenshot of his entry confirmation and urged fans to support his bid. “Guys, please vote for me. I want to be in Big Brother Mzansi,” he wrote enthusiastically. According to him, the country “needs to see more of him on screen,” suggesting that he’s ready to showcase even more of his unfiltered personality.
However, what Siyacela may have hoped would be a flood of support quickly turned into a wave of ridicule and criticism. Within minutes, social media users filled his comment section with jokes, memes, and harsh takes — proving once again that Mzansi never holds back online.
One user, @Nelly_Mavuso, quipped, “He must learn to speak English before he enters that house. We don’t want subtitles the whole day!” Another, @Thandeka_Mfeka, added humorously, “Imagine waking up to him shouting ‘Thando!’ every morning. No thank you.”
Many critics accused Siyacela of arrogance and disrespect, with @Lebo_Molefe writing, “He’s toxic, rude, and entitled. We already saw enough on Isencane Lengane.”
Still, not everyone was against him. Some found his confidence and persistence amusing. “At least he’s consistent. Man never stops auditioning for attention,” commented @King_Shezi, while @Sindi_Ncube noted, “Give him one week in that house. He’ll have the whole nation watching!”
Refusing to be discouraged, Siyacela clapped back at his critics in the comments. He boldly declared that he would continue to plead with fans for votes if necessary. “Even if you don’t want me there, I will beg you. I’m going in with or without your votes,” he wrote.
Siyacela, often criticised for his controversial treatment of his wife Thando during Isencane Lengane, appears determined to reshape his public image — or at least remain relevant. Known for his fiery temper and dramatic personality, he insists that his presence in the Big Brother house would make for unforgettable television.
While the Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 lineup has yet to be confirmed, Siyacela’s campaign has certainly reignited public interest in him. Whether Mzansi will vote him into the house or leave him trending for all the wrong reasons remains to be seen.
