A devastating crash in Lentegeur, Mitchells Plain, has left a community reeling after a pedestrian was killed in a high-impact collision on Wednesday afternoon, 19 November. The fatal incident occurred around 4pm on Eisleben Road and involved a BMW that was allegedly driven on the wrong side of the road at high speed.

Four other vehicles were extensively damaged in the chaos that followed, and several passengers—including children—sustained injuries. Twigg added that after striking the pedestrian, the BMW crashed into four other vehicles, injuring multiple people. “The injured victims, including the driver of the BMW, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment,” he said. At this stage, no arrests have been made, and the circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
