The family of Mojalefa Raymond Mpiriane (35) is seeking justice following his tragic death after he was allegedly stabbed by a bouncer at a local nightclub in Brits, North West.
Mojalefa, who was originally from Maboloka, lost his life on the night of 8 February 2026. According to his relatives, he was stabbed in the chest during an altercation at a club and was later found dead outside the Brits police station. The circumstances surrounding how he ended up there remain unclear, leaving the family desperate for answers.

His sister, Dineo Lion (30), said the incident reportedly began after Mojalefa was accused of inappropriately touching a woman at the club. It is believed that the woman is related to the bouncer accused of attacking him.
“We are heartbroken after losing our brother,” said Dineo. “He was stabbed outside the club, and we still don’t understand how he ended up at the police station. We need answers.”

The suspect, identified as Clement Masire (38), appeared before the Brits Magistrate’s Court and was granted bail of R5,000. This decision has angered the family, who feel justice has not been served.
“Clement didn’t have the right to take my brother’s life,” Dineo added. “If there was a problem, he should have reported it to the police instead of taking matters into his own hands.”
The family described Mojalefa as a peaceful and loving person who did not deserve such a violent end. He leaves behind a girlfriend and three children, who are now forced to cope with his sudden loss.

Another family member, Keneilwe Mpiriane (25), expressed frustration over the court’s decision to grant bail.
“We are not happy at all. How can someone accused of killing my brother be released so easily?” she asked. “It feels like justice is not being taken seriously.”
Keneilwe believes the attack was intentional and said the loss has left the family devastated.
“We were very close. I can’t imagine what he went through in his final moments. He didn’t deserve this. We believe the suspect should face a life sentence,” she said.
Lerato Mpiriane (27), another sister, echoed similar sentiments, questioning the suspect’s lack of remorse.
“He is not showing any regret. I just want to know why he killed my brother. Mojalefa was a caring and giving person, a true leader in our family,” she said.
Thapelo Lion (32), Mojalefa’s brother-in-law, said his death has not only affected the family emotionally but has also shattered future plans they had together.
“We wanted to start a business to uplift young people and support our families. Now that dream is gone,” he said.
Police in North West confirmed that a murder case was opened at Brits Police Station on the day of the incident. Authorities stated that investigations are ongoing.
As the case continues, Mojalefa’s family says they are living in fear and uncertainty, especially with the suspect out on bail. Above all, they are calling for justice and accountability, hoping the truth about what happened that night will finally come to light.
