A 53-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of 21-year-old Tshepang Nyathi during Spring Day celebrations in Refilwe, Cullinan, outside Pretoria.
The incident reportedly happened during festivities when a group of young people were involved in a water-splashing activity, pouring water on pedestrians passing through the area.
According to police, the situation took a violent turn when the group approached the 53-year-old suspect. A confrontation allegedly followed between the young people and the older man.
