Reality TV star and influencer Wandi Ndlovu has once again ignited social media conversation following her release on bail. The This Body Works for Me star was granted bail alongside her mother and sister after being arrested for the fatal stabbing of her uncle, Linda Ndlovu.
The incident took place in Katlehong, Ekurhuleni, following a heated confrontation at the family home. Reports suggest that the altercation was sparked by a disagreement between Wandi’s mother and her late uncle over loud music being played in his backroom. The confrontation escalated and tragically ended in Linda’s death.
After spending two weeks in police custody, Wandi, her sister Ntombifuthi Ndlovu, and their mother were released on Tuesday. The family is being represented by high-profile attorney Dumisani Mabunda, who has handled other prominent South African cases, including that of controversial figure Matthew Lani.
While the trio’s release was already trending on social media due to footage of Wandi celebrating outside court, a new video shared on Facebook by user @BonganiInjembiNhlapho captured another dramatic moment: members of the Katlehong community camped outside Wandi’s home, singing and voicing their feelings about the case.
In the video, Wandi is seen walking in her yard while community members sing outside her property. It is also reported that she appeared to be moving out, with some suggesting she may be leaving Katlehong altogether. The video triggered heated debate online.
Some social media users condemned the community’s behaviour, calling it inappropriate and childish. Comments ranged from mocking the community for celebrating Wandi’s arrest to accusing them of jealousy.
“They are such losers,” said user Pudding Thela.
“Old people are behaving like kids because of jealousy,” added Sagwati Scars Mafumu.
Others like Papi Mbhele defended the community’s reaction, stating: “What’s wrong with celebrating the downfall of a criminal?”
Meanwhile, Khanyi Mbau came to Wandi’s defense, showing her support for the embattled influencer on social media, saying, “Love you my baby.”

In addition to the legal drama, Wandi Ndlovu has also been the subject of attention over her cosmetic surgery. In a separate story, it was reported that she plans to reverse her BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift), sparking further online debate after American singer Summer Walker reshared Wandi’s past BBL photos.
As the court process unfolds, public opinion remains split. Many are calling for justice for Linda Ndlovu, while others continue to rally around Wandi, claiming she is being unfairly targeted due to her public image.
