The former partner of CweCwe’s father, also known as the “X baby mama,” has taken a step back and offered a heartfelt apology following a wave of criticism she received on social media. The drama began when she went public with claims that the father of her child had completely neglected his parental responsibilities ever since marrying CweCwe’s mother. According to her, the man had distanced himself from their biological daughter and was now only present in the life of his stepdaughter, CweCwe.

In her initial post, the X baby mama expressed deep frustration over what she described as unfair treatment towards her child. She accused the father of showing favoritism and abandoning his duties, both emotionally and financially, which quickly stirred up reactions across social media platforms.

However, things took a sharp turn when CweCwe’s mother decided to speak out and present her side of the story—backed by receipts. She released evidence indicating that the child in question had not been removed from the family’s medical aid, contradicting the X baby mama’s claims. Additionally, she provided proof of recent financial support, stating that the most recent maintenance payment was made on March 31, 2025.

In further defense, CweCwe’s mother disclosed that the X baby mama had set what she described as “unreasonable demands.” She claimed the woman was insisting on a monthly maintenance payment of R3,000 while simultaneously refusing to allow her daughter to spend any time with her father. This contradiction raised eyebrows and fueled further online criticism, with many accusing the X baby mama of using her child as leverage.

Facing a growing backlash, the X baby mama has since issued a public apology, acknowledging that her emotions had gotten the best of her. In her apology, she admitted that she struggled to manage her feelings and conceded that going public in the heat of the moment was not the best choice.

“I let my emotions speak for me, and I deeply regret how I handled things,” she said in a follow-up statement. “I should have approached the situation differently and communicated more respectfully.”

Her apology has received mixed responses online. While some have applauded her for taking responsibility and showing humility, others remain skeptical and believe the damage has already been done. The incident has sparked a wider conversation on social media about co-parenting, child support, and the responsibilities of blended families.

As the dust begins to settle, it remains to be seen whether this family can move forward with more harmony and mutual understanding. For now, both sides appear to be standing firm on their respective narratives, but at least an apology marks a step toward resolution.
