Today, the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban witnessed an emotional gathering as family, friends, and admirers came together to bid a final farewell to the beloved media personality, Zanele Mbokazi. The founder of the prestigious Crown Gospel Music Awards, Zanele Mbokazi, passed away on Monday, August 12, following a brave battle with lung cancer. Her passing has left a profound void in the hearts of many who knew and admired her.

The news of Zanele’s passing has deeply affected thousands of mourners who gathered at her memorial service, held on Thursday, August 15, at the GNF church in Durban. The service was not just a somber occasion but also a celebration of her life, filled with music and heartfelt tributes.
