Uyajola 9/9 host Jub Jub has been making headlines following his alleged resignation from Moja Love. The controversy surrounding his departure has been fueled by leaked emails and reports of a strained relationship with the channel.
Jub Jub Resigns from Moja Love
The news of Jub Jub’s departure first surfaced last week when Sunday World reported his resignation. It has now been confirmed that the popular host has indeed parted ways with Moja Love. The split appears to be far from amicable, as leaked correspondence between the two parties has been circulating online.
In the leaked emails, Jub Jub accused Moja Love of creating a toxic work environment. He alleged that he experienced verbal and emotional abuse from the channel’s CEO, which he claims made his job unbearable. He stated in his resignation letter:
“After careful consideration, the reasons for my resignation are as follows: The verbal and emotional abuse in the work environment from the CEO himself. Continuous threats about losing my job.”
CEO Aubrey Tau Responds
Moja Love CEO Aubrey Tau responded to the allegations, describing Jub Jub as “ungrateful,” “dishonest,” and “super arrogant.” Tau also pointed out that the channel had supported Jub Jub through tough times, including paying for his legal fees during his recent legal battles, which reportedly cost the channel over R1 million.
“You were accused of a serious crime of rape, and the company, out of its own goodwill, and after you requested, offered to pay for your legal fees, and this was a huge amount… and no less than R1-million,” said Tau.
### Jub Jub’s Salary: R500k or R180k?
Amid the fallout, rumors about Jub Jub’s salary have sparked interest. Earlier reports suggested that the host was earning around R500,000 per month. However, leaked emails indicate that his actual monthly salary was over R180,000. Despite the conflicting figures, neither Jub Jub nor Moja Love has confirmed the exact amount, leaving the public to speculate.
