Popular Limpopo content creator and singer, Surprise Molebala, widely known by her online persona “Miss Foodie,” has rewarded herself with a brand-new set of wheels. The vibrant 35-year-old from Desmond Park, outside Senwabarwana, recently purchased her very first car — a luxurious Haval Jolion Super Luxury — marking a significant milestone in both her personal life and career.
Speaking about this exciting purchase, Miss Foodie expressed immense pride and gratitude. “It feels good to finally have my own car. I believe I’ve worked very hard over the years, and I truly deserve it. Having this car will make my life much easier, especially because I’m always busy,” she said.
Miss Foodie’s journey hasn’t been easy, as she often relied on public transport to get to her various engagements. For someone juggling multiple professions — from content creation and music to running her own beauty salon — transport was a constant challenge, particularly when working late hours.
“My salon is more than 100 kilometers from where I stay. I usually knock off very late, and getting home used to be such a mission. Now, with my own car, those struggles are behind me. It’s a relief knowing I won’t have to worry about transport, especially when I have gigs at night,” she shared.
The proud new car owner believes that this achievement is just the beginning of bigger things to come. “This is a huge milestone for me, and I’m certain that it’s only the start of more blessings. I have a lot of dreams I still want to achieve,” she said confidently.
Besides making waves as a content creator, Miss Foodie is steadily building her music career. She recently released a seven-track EP at the end of April 2025, further showcasing her versatility. While she admits that her music journey is still in its early stages, she remains optimistic and committed to her craft. “Even though my music career is still taking off, I’m confident that my time will come. I know I need to keep pushing because Rome wasn’t built in a day,” she said.
Miss Foodie’s rise to popularity began in 2023 when she trended on social media for something quite unexpected — eating “unusual” street food in the bustling Polokwane CBD. Many South Africans related to her fearless attitude of eating affordable food without shame, especially in a society where social pressure often pushes people to portray lifestyles beyond their means.
“I started posting content because I wanted to break that cycle. People should never be ashamed of eating food they can afford. Not all of us have the luxury of eating expensive meals. Eat what you can afford and don’t be embarrassed about it,” she emphasized.
With her growing online presence, a flourishing music career, and now her first car, Miss Foodie’s journey continues to inspire many. And according to her, this is only the beginning — more music, more content, and even greater achievements are on the horizon.
