Reality TV personality Mpumelelo Mseleku has stirred widespread controversy after revealing that he no longer sees a future with his fiancée, Tirelo Kale. His comments, made during a recent episode of the popular Showmax reality series Izingane Zez’Thembu, have sparked intense debate across social media platforms.
In the episode, which aired on 15 March 2026, Mpumelelo opened up to his father, Musa Mseleku, about his relationship concerns. Despite previously proposing to Tirelo and sharing a child with her, he stated bluntly that he does not envision marrying her anymore. His admission surprised many viewers, especially given the couple’s history and family ties.
According to Mpumelelo, his decision stems from what he described as Tirelo becoming overly familiar with his family. He expressed discomfort with her interactions, particularly with his siblings, claiming that she had crossed certain boundaries. He also referenced an incident where Tirelo allegedly came home intoxicated after spending time with his siblings, which further strained his perception of her role within the family.
Mpumelelo emphasized the importance of respect and tradition, noting that in his view, Tirelo should remember that she is not yet fully part of the Mseleku household. He stated that her behavior conflicted with the values he upholds, especially as someone raised in a polygamous family structure that places strong emphasis on hierarchy and respect.
