South African music producer and DJ Prince Kaybee has revealed his ongoing struggle with partial memory loss, which he says has reached a critical stage. The award-winning artist took to social media to share a recent troubling experience at the airport that made him realize how serious his condition has become.

Prince Kaybee, known for hits like Charlotte and Club Controller, explained that after landing at the airport, he called an Uber to go home. It wasn’t until he got home that he suddenly remembered he had actually driven himself to the airport—and his car was still parked there. “Left the airport in an Uber only to find out I actually forgot my car at the airport. My partial loss of memory has gotten to a critical stage, embarrassing,” he shared with fans online.

The incident sparked a wave of reactions from fans and followers, many of whom expressed concern and shared similar experiences. One user commented, “Someone got divorced for forgetting their marriage vows. You really need to look into your memory loss issue.” Another follower shared their own struggle with memory, explaining they live with absent seizures that contribute to frequent memory blackouts.

Others were more lighthearted but equally concerned. One person wrote, “I’ve started taking memory boosters, but I even forget if I’ve taken them.” Another added, “Don’t take it lightly, chief. I’m going through that phase. Almost burnt my house down recently.”

Some pointed out the privilege in Kaybee’s story, suggesting that if he didn’t have the option to use Uber, he might not have forgotten his car in the first place. However, the underlying concern for his well-being remained strong throughout the comments.

This isn’t the first time Prince Kaybee’s health has made headlines. He has been involved in five separate motorbike accidents, the most recent one in April 2024. After that crash, he underwent surgery and shared images of himself wearing a moon boot. Kaybee recounted that the accident happened because he was riding at high speed and applied the brakes too late, causing him to be thrown from the bike. He sustained a broken ankle and a wrist injury in that incident.

Previously, after another motorbike accident, Kaybee posted a picture of his bruised arm and revealed that he hadn’t been wearing any protective gear. The post sparked debate online, with many criticizing his lack of safety precautions.

Apart from his personal health issues, Prince Kaybee recently made headlines for offering advice to fellow musicians. He urged artists not to create music solely for platforms like TikTok. His statement came amid backlash over Cassper Nyovest’s latest single Kusho Bani, with some fans interpreting Kaybee’s comments as a subtle dig at Cassper.

While his professional life continues to stir conversations, it’s clear that Prince Kaybee’s recent health revelation has sparked genuine concern among his fans. Many hope he seeks proper medical evaluation and takes steps to manage his memory issues before they escalate further.
