Tsitso’s journey wasn’t without its struggles. His obituary acknowledged that he had been tempted into activities that his family disapproved of. Former ward councillor Thabang Magodielo urged mourners not to judge him. “He was a father who wanted to shield his children from the hardships he experienced. He was a hustler and a fighter,” Magodielo said.
