Actress Brenda Ngxoli has firmly denied accusations that she used funds from public donations to finance dental procedures. The allegations came after the star posted a picture with musician Vusi Nova at the House of Smilez dental clinic, leading some to speculate that she had used the over R100,000 she raised earlier this year for her teeth.

Ngxoli, who shared her personal struggles on social media, garnered significant support from her followers, resulting in a substantial donation. However, the recent post featuring her visit to the dental clinic raised eyebrows, with some questioning whether she had spent the donated money on cosmetic dentistry.

In response to these claims, Ngxoli took to the comments section of Maphepha Ndaba’s Instagram page to clarify the situation. She emphasized that her visit to the House of Smilez was for a routine dental check-up and cleaning, not for any cosmetic procedures. She also reminded her followers that her “Hollywood Smile” was a gift from the clinic, which she received at the start of the previous year.

“For the record: I did not purchase any new teeth. House of Smilez gifted me my Hollywood Smile at the beginning of last year,” Ngxoli wrote. She further expressed her frustration with the rumors, stating that the accusations were an attempt to damage her reputation and integrity.

Ngxoli’s message continued with a forgiving tone, addressing the individuals behind the false allegations: “Attempting perhaps to destroy my integrity, write your lies. Whatever you were hoping to achieve is between you, your conscience, and God. I forgive you.”

The actress’s response highlights her commitment to setting the record straight while maintaining a sense of peace amidst the controversy. Despite the unfounded rumors, Ngxoli remains focused on her personal growth and maintaining a positive outlook.

This public clarification serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing false claims and protecting one’s reputation in the age of social media, where rumors and misinformation can quickly spread.
