VANDERBIJLPARK, South Africa – What began as a desperate search for a missing child has ended in devastating sorrow after the body of 12-year-old Motlalepule Blessing Ujitho was discovered buried in a shallow grave in Bophelong.
The heartbreaking discovery was made on Monday, 13 April 2026, in an open field situated between Bonanne and Movhango Extension 17. Alarmed by the sight, the individual immediately alerted others, prompting community members to rush to the scene.

Upon closer inspection, it became clear that the remains were those of a young girl. Witnesses described the body as being in an advanced state of decomposition.
