A survivor of the deadly tavern shooting in Wedela, near Carletonville in Gauteng, has shared a harrowing account of how he managed to survive after gunmen opened fire on people gathered at the establishment.
The attack left 17 people dead and 15 others wounded, turning what should have been an ordinary gathering into a scene of devastation. Police have since launched a manhunt for eight armed suspects believed to have been involved in the shooting.
