A disturbing incident unfolded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where a 31-year-old man is facing serious charges after allegedly throwing his 1-year-old daughter off a second-story balcony during a heated argument with the child’s mother. Fortunately, the toddler, Stormy Walters, survived the terrifying fall with only minor injuries.

According to reports, the altercation began inside the home when Jaimann Eiland, the child’s father and the mother’s ex-husband, accidentally knocked over the baby in the kitchen. This accidental bump quickly escalated into a heated argument between Eiland and Stormy’s mother, Shakira Walters.

The situation spiraled out of control, turning violent. Shakira Walters shared her horror, claiming Eiland choked and punched her before turning his rage toward their daughter. In a moment of alleged violence, Eiland is accused of lifting the toddler and hurling her over the balcony railing, causing her to fall from the second floor.

Miraculously, the toddler survived the incident with only bruises. Shakira Walters expressed both shock and relief that Stormy was not more seriously injured. “This is my baby involved. She’s 1. She could’ve died. She could’ve gotten really hurt from that,” she said. “I’m just mad.”

Stormy, seen smiling in a video filmed before the terrifying ordeal, is now recovering well. “She’s fine. She’s doing great,” Shakira Walters stated. “There’s nothing I can really say. She’s just fine. As long as my baby’s still breathing, that’s it.”

The criminal complaint filed against Eiland charges him with substantial battery and physical abuse of a child. During questioning, Eiland admitted to the initial accidental knock-over but downplayed his involvement in the violent escalation. However, Walters firmly believes that his actions were intentional and potentially life-threatening. “He was definitely trying to [harm her] because for you to be choking her and you punched her and threw her off the balcony, he was definitely trying to kill my baby,” she alleged.

Walters reflected on the ordeal, urging others to recognize how quickly conflicts can turn dangerous. “Those kinds of situations, just try to walk away. Walk away from things like this because people can take their anger out on your baby, and babies are defenseless,” she said.

The incident serves as a chilling reminder of the risks children face in domestic disputes. Walters hopes her experience will make others think twice before allowing arguments to escalate into violence, especially around children.

Eiland is currently being held in jail on a $15,000 bail. If convicted of child abuse, he faces a maximum of 12 years in prison. The case remains under investigation as authorities continue to gather evidence and witness statements.

This tragic event, while ending with a miraculous survival, highlights the importance of intervention and the need for victims of domestic violence to seek help before situations turn deadly.
