South Africans have been left shocked and emotional after the heartbreaking story of a KwaZulu-Natal woman who claims she has been experiencing rapid ageing and severe health complications over the past few years.
The woman, identified as 31-year-old Snenhlahla Khoza from Mtubatuba in KwaZulu-Natal, recently shared her painful journey publicly, revealing how her body allegedly began changing dramatically when she was around 27 years old.
Her story has drawn comparisons to that of Nkoma Admire Mninginisi, a Limpopo man whose rare and unexplained condition made headlines five years ago after he also experienced symptoms linked to accelerated ageing.

At the time, Nkoma, originally from Giyani in Limpopo and later living in Tembisa, Gauteng, explained that he had enjoyed a healthy and normal childhood before his health suddenly changed during his teenage years.
According to Nkoma, he started experiencing painful swelling in his joints at the age of 15 in 2010. Despite seeking medical assistance for years, he said doctors were unable to provide him with clear answers or effective treatment.
He also shared how the condition gradually worsened over time, affecting his daily life and robbing him of many experiences people his age normally enjoy.

Now, years later, Snenhlahla says she is facing a similar battle.
Photos circulating on social media have sparked widespread concern and discussion, with many people shocked by how much older she reportedly appears than her actual age.
Speaking about her condition, Snenhlahla claimed doctors informed her that her skin and some of her internal organs, including her heart, had suffered damage. However, she says medical professionals have still not been able to determine exactly what illness she may be suffering from.
According to her, doctors reportedly suggested that the condition could possibly be genetic and advised that specialists outside South Africa may have more experience dealing with such rare medical cases.
The emotional toll of the illness has also deeply affected her personal life.
Snenhlahla revealed that she now struggles to care for her young child due to her declining health, and that her elderly mother has had to step in to help look after her.
She has since appealed to the public for prayers, support, and medical assistance, expressing hope that she may eventually regain her health and live a normal life again.
Her story, which was first highlighted by Thuleleni TV, has also triggered intense debate online. While some social media users have speculated about supernatural causes and witchcraft, especially following claims linked to a past relationship, no medical evidence has been presented to support those theories.
Snenhlahla herself reportedly believes her health problems began after the end of a relationship with a foreign national, claiming her condition worsened shortly afterwards.
Medical discussions online have instead pointed to Werner syndrome, a rare disorder sometimes referred to as adult progeria. The condition is associated with accelerated ageing and can cause age-related health complications to appear much earlier than normal.
Despite the speculation, no official diagnosis for either Snenhlahla or Nkoma has been publicly confirmed.
Their stories continue to highlight the struggles faced by people living with rare and poorly understood medical conditions, while also raising awareness about the importance of access to specialised healthcare and emotional support for affected families.
